Wisdom and Haste (Things I Wish I Had)

A couple years ago someone whom I look up to explained to me the lesson and intent of Nietzche’s works as the following:

Live your life as if, on the day of your death, some terrible force came along and cursed you to live it out over  and over, forever.

Every. Single. Detail. In sequence, again and again into eternity.

My own death is inevitable, and as a matter of personal philosophy not something to be feared but planned on and earned – in my life and through my actions.

I hold those two thoughts in my head, that I have one chance at this, forever.
